	Vanne A city that is both beautiful and dangerous, Vanne is a warm and romantic location surrounded by wineries and wealthy ports. A town dedicated to commerce, most of the power resides with the merchant lords. There is very little military presence in Vanne, mainly because the town is protected by its aggressive trade deals and personal assassins of the merchant princes. The town is bordered by the sea on one side and the river Velabanchel on the other. Verden's westernmost province. Rolling hills and vast stretches of grass compose the most of this part of the country, sloping gently down to the coastline in most places. The flat ground makes for semi-regular, moderately significant flooding when the rain causes the rivers to overflow, but not as bad as in other parts of the country. The flooding layers the soils with the nutrients that keep the soil some of the richest in the country, which explains the swaths of various crops and hills full of sheep and cows.
