Vetar Verden's northernmost province. This portion is chiefly made up of lowland plains so flat that on a clear day, one can see Mount Volkan hundreds of kilometers to the south. This is a fertile region but one that has seen many natural disasters. The north used to yo-yo between the control of different countries, so there is a melting pot of culture. There are few trees but the north is nonetheless a hub for trade and home to many tribes. Sub-board: Celtusk |

Jilani Verden's eastern province. Jilani is characterized by its dramatic scenery. Its coast is nearly all steep cliffs and swooping hills, which soon rise into jagged mountains, the highest of which are known to have snow year-round. The mountains are best surpassed by a trail down near Fjoer, and one right through the middle of the province, but some of the richest families have secluded homes up on the mountains' steep sides, many of which few people know about. The geography is protection enough for these homes, but the mountain lions, mountain goats and mountain eagles are also a startling protection in their own right. Sub-board: Fjoer |

Atma-Lanae Verden's central province and home of its capital. Vast forests, mighty rivers, and pine-covered hills dot the landscape. The nearby mountains leave the rivers cold year-round, and make waterfalls common, but it's still one of the most densely populated provinces due to its capital city and the heavy trade and political weight. People from the furthest reaches of the country are constantly flowing through Atma-Lanae's cities, not only the capital, and due to that styles and customs are mixed. The locals here typically have thick skins, accustomed to accidentally offending and being accidentally offended when cultures clash, and those carrying grudges have to do so privately or risk offenses they can't bounce back from. Amanzi Verden's westernmost province. Rolling hills and vast stretches of grass compose the most of this part of the country, sloping gently down to the coastline in most places. The flat ground makes for semi-regular, moderately significant flooding when the rain causes the rivers to overflow, but not as bad as in other parts of the country. The flooding layers the soils with the nutrients that keep the soil some of the richest in the country, which explains the swaths of various crops and hills full of sheep and cows. Sub-board: Vanne |

Meridies Verden's southern province. The vast Mazatl jungle is full of the crumbling ruins of lost city states, making it a favourite place for explorers and archaeologists to venture. However, the jungle is dark and grows over paths quickly, and rivers can flood several feet without warning. It is full of poisonous plants and voracious predators, including flesh-eating insects. But this jungle offers food, wealth, and security. It has turned away invaders for centuries, and its coast is teeming with mermaids and other races. Sub-board: Limáni |
