The large port city of Limáni is built upon the southern island of Verden. The city moves higher in elevation, following the flow of the island. The port is low and one must climb stairs to make it into the actual city. There are large towers built to allow proper defenses and large walls made of stone. Many of the buildings are made of mostly stone and some wood. Resting high above the port city, like a sentinel's tower, is the large mansion, which is home to the Governor of the city. The whole island is made up of dense jungle, which protects the city from most invaders, but to ensure that no harm is done to the city, a large wall protects its borders from the jungle side as well. The city is a melting pot of cultures, with many religions and lifestyles mixing into the city easily. Even a church has come to terms with this and almost every type of religious leader can be found here. The church is known to be more of a hospital than an actual place of worship, however, there are priests there if needed.
