This city was originally built up to protect against active lava flows. It has the harshest weather in all of Verden due to volcanic activity, and as such is generally populated by dracolisks, centaurs, and other exceptionally hardy races. Summers are dangerously hot and winters see ash storms. Technologies both military and magical are tested here. The city is made up of stucco, gypsum, and brick structures. It was built with no common plan other than safety, and as such buildings are arranged according to function and are often packed one on top of another.
